This is quite possibly the tightest song I have heard in a long, long time. Cee Lo Green is one of my favorite alternative hip hop artists of all time and he definitely doesn’t disapoint with his new single. “Fuck You” or “F**k You” as I am sure it’s called to stay politically correct. I haven’t heard the edited version of “Fuck You” yet but I would imagine that it is not nearly as funny. I’m assuming that they would have to make it “Frick You” or “Screw You”. I don’t think it would have the same effect if it were bleeped or scratched out. I think that Cee Lo’s new song, “F*ck You”, will not only be a hit (already over 1.4 million views on YouTube) but also become a classic that people of all ages, races, social status and lifestyle can relate to. Continuing in his tradition of breaking new ground and setting the standard for an emerging genre.
