Vans Warped Tour 2010
The Warped Tour has been touring for years, bringing music and extreme sports to people nationwide. The tour is held in venues such as parking lots, outdoor venues, fairgrounds, parks or fields upon which the stages and other structures are erected. The BMX/skateboarding shoe manufacturer Vans, among others, has sponsored the tour every year since 1995, and it is often referred to as the Vans Warped Tour. Battle of bands is a contest in which many bands, usually rock/guitar bands but often from a range of different styles, compete for the title of “best band”. The winner is determined by a panel of judges, the general response of the audience, or a combination. The winning band usually receives a prize in addition to bragging rights. Prizes usually include cash, free recording time in a local recording studio, support or main slot at a local or large gig, a piece of new equipment, or a gift certificate.

The Ernie Ball Vans Warped Tour Battle of the Bands is 100% free to enter!
To enter the Ernie Ball Vans Warped Tour Battle of the Bands, bands must complete a short informational profile and then upload at least one MP3. Entrants should use the Band Promotional Toolkit provided in their profile upon logging in, to promote their entry all over the web and drive fans to vote.
The Top 100 vote getting bands for each venue will be eligible to win a slot to play live on the Vans Warped Tour. All 100 bands for each venue will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals comprised of our partners, Vans Warped Tour Organizers, and Ernie Ball Inc.
Four bands will be chosen to perform live on the Ernie Ball Stage for each date of the 2010 Vans Warped Tour.
The winning artists earn the opportunity to perform on the Ernie Ball Stage at the Summer’s largest music festival, The 2010 Vans Warped Tour. The winning bands will play live in their hometown venue in front of thousands of fans alongside main stage headliners and Ernie Ball headlining artists Mayday Parade, Emarosa, The Swellers, Automatic Loveletter, Eyes Set to Kill, Closure in Moscow, and more…
