This is one of my all time favorite Talib Kweli songs. As one of the most prolific progressive hip hop artists Talib Kweli has made dozens of dope songs like this one. That being said “Get By” represents the struggles that most of us go through and relate to. I don’t know if I would have ever known who Keri Hilson is if it weren’t for this song. But thanks to Lil Wayne it got the exposure it needed to get the right amount of views. Earning a spot on the Fuse 40 Sexiest Music Videos list Keri Wilson brings home number 27.

Kanye West in his prime featuring Jamie Foxx on one of the most famous songs of Kanye’s career. Well deserving of a spot on Fuse’ Top 40 Sexy Videos list is Kanye West with ‘Gold Digger’.

I don’t care much for Fergie but she bring the house, or in this case the bridge down. She definitely has the moves for sexy music videos.

An oldy but a goody, Madona is a classic sexy music video veteran. Props to her for practically inventing the sexy music video.

23. Usher feat. Young Jeezy – Love in This Club

Usher is well known for his hot and sexy romance videos. This one is no different. Usher brings home number 23 on Fuse’s List of 40 Sexiest Videos.

22. Pitbull – Hotel Room Service

Pitbull’s club tracks bring home the bacon, and the booty. Reigning in at number 22 on Fuse 40 Sexiest Videos list Pitbull and his hotties get freaky in the hotel.

21. Britney Spears – I’m a Slave 4 U

Britney when Britney was still hot and turning slutty. She was always a little slutty but grasped to innocence. This was the sign of her true metamorphosis into full on slutdom. Britney could probably own 10 spots on this list but for now she will have to live with number 21 on Fuse 40 Sexiest Videos list.

20. Snoop Dogg feat. Pharrell – Beautiful

Snoop Dogg and Pharrell colaberated on this track which quickly became a world wide sensation. Filmed in Brazil and featuring some of the most beautifull women you have ever seen, this video could have been ranked in the top 10 on Fuse’s list. This song blew up when Pharrell was just starting to get big.

Rheteric is a little more well known on the battle rap scene and he has earned his rep as a dope battle emcee. Knowshun, while having a less powerful following is deserving of all the respect he has gotten and some. Dudes are both sick. Rheteric hit Knowhun with dope punchlines and vice versa. You gotta see this one, another dope emcee battle out of Grind Time Midwest. Props to the Minnieapolis sub-division. Props to Grind Time Now and props to Rheteric and Knowshun for putting on a dope show.

Well first off I gotta say that I like seeing Snoop Dogg featuring on songs with mainstream pop artists. He tends to shine on songs that are not his own. Bringing a little west coast swagger to any song that he is on Snoop Dogg is the perfect artist to have featuring on a song about California. Katy Perry is hot. And she flaunts it in this video for sure. California Gurls (get it right, its not spelled girls in Cali, didn’t you know?) is not the best song from either artist, but it is a crazy music video. I loved the candy land theme of the music video. Show KP love and pick up the single.

Its just a shame that Snoop Dogg’s army of gummy bears had to get taken out from Katy Perry’s whipped cream boob blast. Some people are saying that Katy Perry sold out with this video and she is using sex to sell. But frankly who isn’t? Furthermore, I for one am happy that she is half naked in this video. I thought it was surprisingly good and would like to see more from Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg. Overall I think that Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls’ is an okay song that is made much better with the addition of Snoop Dogg. Big ups to the Dogfather. For anyone who watches True Blood you will get a kick out of this. Snoop Dogg raps a love song to Sookie and drops a ton of True Blood references which are actually quite funny. Snoop Dogg has figured out a lot of ways to get popular in various niches. This is evidence of this in full effect. He probably isn’t going win over any new fans with this song but it will definitely get him a grip of exposure. Snoop Dogg singing “Oh Sookie” down in the bayou is parody gold. This video could have been a little bit better if he played the roll of a vampire in the video. Or even better, as a werewolf. If Snoop Dogg does appear on True Blood I hope it is as a werewolf.

Snoop is rumored to have shown interest in appearing on True Blood. It is unclear whether he intends on making a cameo or if he wants to become a regular character. I can tell you one thing, I would like to see him on True Blood. In my opinion True Blood is too much of a romance novel and not enough of a vampire show. Snoop Dogg might make it a little more gangsta, which is always good. The Snoop Dogg True Blood song “Oh Sookie” is made better by the music video. It wouldn’t be as good if it were just an mp3. Having Snoop and his background dancers rocking out in front of Merlotte’s is awesome.

In the end of the first episode of the new season (Season 3) there are some wolves which appear to be Werewolves, this could possibly be a precursor to Snoop Dogg appearing on True Blood.

30. Juvenile – Back That Thang Up

Damn this song brings me back. Juvenile “Back That Thang Up” aka “Back That Azz Up” dropped like a bomb in the sumber of 1999. I always thought of this song as more of a Southern Hip Hop club track, but Fuse seems to think its one of the top 40 sexiest videos of all time. Either way, this song is classic for anyone listening to mainstream hip hop in the late nineties.

31. Nelly – Hot in Herre

Oh shit. Nelly brought the house down with his 2002 hit “Hot In Herre” off the album Nellyville. I can definitely see why Fuse put this song on their top 40 sexiest videos of all time list. It could also be on a lot of other lists like top club tracks, top mainstream hip hop tracks, etc. Hot In Herre is a really nostalgic track for me, and definitely a hot music video.

32. Mariah Carey – Touch My Body

By far one of the sexiest videos of all time, Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body” is my personal favorite sexy video. MC is still super hot even in her… how old is she? I don’t care, or want to know. That might ruin my fantasy. Thanks Fuse, and your 40 Sexiest Videos. I might not have ever seen this video if it weren’t for you.

33. Fountains of Wayne – Stacy’s Mom

This song totally sucks, but the video is hot. Props Fuse for being able to figure out that this video is sexy. If I didn’t know that it was, I would have never watched it. The song sucks donkey dong.

The official release date is June 21, 2010 but a mixtape version of Eminem’s New Album, Recovery has been leaked on the internet from a Detroit area DeeJay, DJ Young Mase. The New Album, Recovery is rumored to be one of his best yet. It is different than some of his other albums in one major way. For the full Recovery Album Review check it out in one of our previous posts. Anyway, back to the album. It is way different because on Eminem’s New Album he isn’t as angry as in most of his other albums. He is more positive and vulnerable in his lyrics and his temperament. This can be seen in his recently released single Not Afraid. Some people have spoken negatively about the song saying that Eminem’s new song Not Afraid seems fake.

If you want to read into it you can infer all the usual stuff about Eminem like he is sad and all that. The new album was supposedly recorded with Eminem completely sober, reminiscing about Recovery from addiction.

His last album Relapse was recorded during his recovery apparently while he was reminiscing about drug use. check out the real cover to the right. I will be adding it to my collection as soon as the delivery truck pulls up and drops off Eminem’s New Album. 2010 is going to be a good year for hip hop fans.

August trial date set for Ja Rule in gun case

Ja Rule Gun ChargesAccording to the associated press a criminal court recently requested that Ja Rule to book a date in New York City this summer for a trial concerning his three-year-old gun case.

A Manhattan judge set an August 18th trial date on Tuesday (06-08-2010), after turning down the platinum-selling rapper’s request for a hearing on a type of DNA analysis used in the case. In denying the request, Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers found “no new or novel techniques involved in the testing procedure.”

Ja Rule’s defense attorney, Stacey Richman, said she planned to appeal the ruling.

Ja Rule, who has pleaded not guilty to the alleged criminal weapons possession charges, was allowed to skip the proceeding for a movie shoot out of town.

The case against him stems from a stop of his Maybach sports car, valued over $250,000, after a July 2007 concert. Police say they found a loaded semiautomatic gun in a rear door of the car.

If convicted, the 34-year-old could face up to four years in prison.

So what do you think about Ja Rule’s case? Do you think that he should get special treatment because he is an actor/rapper? Any regular person would have had their trial by now. Lets say that I was arrested on gun charges but had a business conference in another state, there is no way that I would be allowed to leave the state for work. Ja Rule is a Pac-biting, no-talent-having, weak ass rapper who should have to face trial for crimes committed. Over 3 years and their still hasn’t been a trial? That’s unheard of.

So fake views don’t do anything but add digits to a number. He says a number of times that “this is what your paying thousands of dollars for” when he is hitting refresh on his browser. That is incorrect (and the dumb ass doesn’t even know to call it “refresh” he just tells you that it can be done on a Mac, like PC’s can’t pull it off). The keyword “WSHH” gets searched globally over 600,000 times every month. And that’s just one keyword, I’m not counting the people who search for “World Star Hip Hop” or any other relevant keywords. The amount of traffic to World Star Hip Hop is unmatched by any other hip hop website. If you want to get noticed it IS the place you want to advertise. Furthermore your not paying per view. You pay to have it placed and that’s that, your video is featured in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

The Official Release of Recovery can be found on Eminem’s Website or if your looking to buy the hot new album check it out on Amazon. Now for the 411. Eminem’s newest album is set to release on June 22nd 2010. You can however pre-order it off of Amazon and there is a leaked version out there for Download. The new album, Recovery, was originally supposed to be the sequel to Relapse 2 but because of all the new songs that Eminem has been recording, he felt that Relapse 2 didn’t fit the theme and came up with Recovery. It is a statement to the fact that Em is now off drugs. Relapse was completed while Em was kicking his bad habits and rapping about relapsing, Recovery was completed sober while rapping about recovery. The Eminem Recovery Album leaked just after the first freestyle he released, called Eminem – Despicable (Freestyle).

One of the firsts to leak was a song titled “Eminem – Not Afraid produced by Jim Jonsin” which is by far one of the best songs on the recovery album and will become an instant classic.

Relapse sold over 600,000 and some industry specialists are speculating that Eminem’s Recovery Album will sell over a million first week, despite the leak. He would be the first person to go diamond in a week since Lil Wayne did it on The Carter III.

This video is great. I have seen a lot of Jon Lajoie’s Music Videos and almost every single one of them has been awesome. This one is really tight. It is on par with all the crappy pop songs on the radio and it basically calls all them out as being super whack and all the manipulation that goes on behind the pop music industry. Jon’s website is kind of slow to load and it is pretty weird but if you eventually find his videos they all kick ass. So you know the plant on the right hand side of the screen with Mike Keaton’s face on it is the link to watch videos. Pop Song isn’t on the site yet but it should be soon.

Em’s new album is fire yo. From start to finish the new Eminem album is from his heart and soul. It is hands down one of his best albums ever and one of his most unique albums. He has made a name for himself as an angst ridden broken heart and while the new album does have its fair share of dramatic visuals it is a redemption album for Em. It is the first CD he has completed sober since The Eminem Show.

Show dude some love and pick up a copy of his new album from Amazon. It’s only $10.99 which is a steel for how many great new songs are on it.

I don’t know about y’all but I prefer to have the CD rather than just the MP3’s. Great thing about Eminem’s new album “Recovery” from Amazon is that its only $10.99. New CD’s are way cheaper on Amazon than in stores.

Back to the album though, Eminem changed it up a bit with this one. While he really earned his reputation as a angry dude on his previous projects this one is more about his recovery from drug addiction and carries a much more positive message than any of his other albums. I was really impressed when I heard it for the first time and since then every time I listen to the tracks I find something new to like about it.
